What's New At Legacy?
December 2009

Legacy Senior Communities are pleased to have four more of our World War II Residents participate in Honor Flight on June 5th and 6th. Legacy at The Fairways Residents, Howard Strassner, Bob Parsons, Ed Barnard & Ted Vangello departed for Washington D.C on June 5th. The entire community quickly got involved and excited for these veterans. They departed The Fairways at 4:30 a.m. via a charted limo, and arrived at the airport to start their journey to the World War II monument built in their honor, they visited all the war monuments, and Arlington cemetery for the changing of the guard, and enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the Hilton before retiring for the evening to prepare for the trip back home on the 6th. Once back in Rochester, they were treated to a hero’s welcome home, a homecoming they never received upon returning from the original service. Legacy Senior Community is a proud sponsor of Honor Flight Rochester. To learn more about simply click on the link below.
