Legacy at Erie Station helps you make every day as extraordinary as you want it to be. Our signature Living Very Well program is designed to give our residents appealing choices so that they can have a lifestyle that is as active, personally fulfilling, and social as they choose. Time and time again we hear from adult children of our residents who express to us their pleasure in seeing mom and dad the most active they have been in years.
We have built the Living Very Well program on the seven major building blocks of wellness:
Based on these wellness components, our full-time Lifestyle Director works in concert with Legacy at Erie Station residents to create activities, programs, and outings that are meaningful to our residents and their unique tastes and moods.
Have you ever thought that country line dancing might be fun but didn’t know how? Join your neighbors for a foot-tapping good time and learn the Cowboy Charleston or the Darlin’ Mambo at our beginner line dancing classes. Feeling creative? Take an art class with Elaine. Are you in the mood for something different? Jump on the Legacy shuttle bus and head to the Glen Curtiss Museum to learn all about sea planes and aviation or head to East Rochester for a delicious lunch at the Northside Inn. For those that enjoy music, there are regular and varied live music performances or you can join our community’s chorus. Renew spiritually with Mass, Catholic Communion, Bible study, or a spiritual gathering. Share a laugh with friends over a game of bingo, Boggle, Jeopardy, dominoes, euchre, or Texas hold-em.
Whether you’re in the mood for a movie, guided meditation, golf, joining the Walking Club, or taking a Living Out Loud class; or if you have an idea for a new activity, we go the extra mile to make sure there’s always something engaging to do so you can live very well at The Legacy.
