Legacy at Park Crescent helps you make every day as extraordinary as you want it to be. Our signature Living Very Well program is designed to give our residents appealing choices so that they can have a lifestyle that is as active, personally fulfilling, and social as they choose. Time and time again we hear from adult children of our residents who express to us their pleasure in seeing mom and dad the most active they have been in years.
We have built the Living Very Well program on the seven major building blocks of wellness:
Based on these wellness components, our full-time Lifestyle Director works in concert with Legacy at Park Crescent residents to create activities, programs, and outings that are meaningful to our residents and their unique tastes and moods.
Have you ever wanted to learn more about cooking and baking but never took the time? Join your neighbors for mouthwatering baking classes and cooking demos followed by a social event for tasting the results. Are you in the mood for something different? Jump on the Legacy shuttle bus and head to the Finger Lakes Casino to cheer on your favorite thoroughbred or try your hand at the gaming machines; or how about a trip to Carmine’s Restaurant for an antique car show and dinner; or perhaps a scenic cruise on the historic Erie Canal? For those that enjoy music and dance, there are regular and varied live music performances, line dancing, our community‘s chorus, and even karaoke. Renew spiritually with Mass, Catholic Communion, or Bible study. Share a laugh with friends over a game of dominoes, euchre, Skip-Bo, or SCAT.
Whether you’re in the mood for Wii bowling, a men’s steak luncheon, astronomy class, garden group, or joining our knitting club; or if you have an idea for a new activity, we go the extra mile to make sure there’s always something fun to do so you can live very well at The Legacy.
